Lisette Valdez Valle, Dr. Joseph Maldonado, and Fabio Franciolly Fonseca were the three speakers at the "Personal Stories" session in the RECONNECTING 2016 conference on September 7-8, 2016 in Miami, FL. All three had very moving stories about their journeys back to their heritage. Lisette is the daughter of Cuban immigrants to the US.
